First Aid / Bloodborne Pathogen Training (Up to 10 Students)
- Red Cross First Aid/BBP Training
- International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA) First Aid/BBP Training
First aid and bloodborne pathogen (BBP) training classes are designed to empower individuals with the skills and insights needed to manage a variety of emergency situations and minimize health risks associated with bloodborne pathogens. Central to the curriculum is the emphasis on practical first-aid techniques. Participants learn how to assess and respond to different types of injuries, from minor cuts and burns to more severe conditions like choking or seizures. Equally important is the training's focus on Bloodborne Pathogens. It educates attendees on identifying risks and implementing standard precautions to prevent the transmission of diseases such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Participants will learn safe practices when handling or being exposed to blood and other bodily fluids, emphasizing the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper disposal methods.
Our BBP and first aid training class is conducted in an interactive, instructor-led format that encourages engagement and hands-on practice. Limited to ten or fewer students ensures a conducive learning environment where questions can be addressed directly and skills can be honed under the guidance of experienced professionals. This blend of first aid and BBP education is pivotal in preparing individuals to address health emergencies confidently and safely, minimizing risks and potentially saving lives.
