This package is a replacement kit for Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR Plus, Charge-Pak charger, and Quik-Pak pacing/defibrillation/ECG electrode pads. The Physio-Control CR Plus LIFEPAK AED and LIFEPAK EXPRESS AED stand out for their unique power management system, employing the CHARGE-PAK battery system. This system involves a battery charger that energizes an internal, non-removable battery within the AED itself. Both the CHARGE-PAK battery charger and the electrode pads are changed at the same time, either after the device has been utilized for rescue or approximately every two years. This unified replacement cycle means you only have to track one expiration date, helping guarantee that the LIFEPAK CR Plus or EXPRESS AEDs are always prepared for emergencies.

It's important to note that each CHARGE-PAK battery charger is exclusively compatible with the first AED it's connected to and cannot be reused with another unit. When it's time to replace a used Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR Plus AED Battery & Pads, it's important to use the CHARGE-PAK  discharger, which safely depletes the battery over nine days before you place it in the recycling or disposal.
